15-Year-Old Golf Prodigy Miles Russell to Make Historic PGA Tour Debut

Miles Russell, the youngest player ever to make a Korn Ferry Tour cut, is set to compete in his first PGA Tour event at the Rocket Mortgage Classic later this month.

Russell's impressive performance at the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April, where he finished tied-20th, solidified his place in history as the first player on either Tour to finish in the top 25 since records began in 1983. The crowd at the tournament erupted in support of Russell during his final round, as he posted a 5-under 66 with seven birdies through 10 holes.

In making history by qualifying for the weekend at the LECOM Suncoast Classic, Russell broke the record previously held by Tony Finau’s younger brother, Gripper Finau, who held the record at 16 years old. Russell's resume boasts impressive accolades, including being named the American Junior Golf Association's Player of the Year at 15 years old, an honor previously bestowed upon golf legend Tiger Woods.
