The Kentucky Derby, renowned as one of the most prestigious horse races globally, witnessed an influx of celebrity presence on its eve, with Super Bowl champions Aaron Rodgers and Travis Kelce gracing the Sports Illustrated Revel at the Races party. The glamorous gathering took place at The Ice House in downtown Louisville, adding to the list of longstanding events that have become a magnet for A-list attendees.
Rodgers, a star quarterback for the New York Jets and a regular at the Derby over the years, joined a group of former teammates at the party. Davante Adams, A.J. Hawk, Jimmy Graham, and David Bakhtiari shared the spotlight with Rodgers, adding to the camaraderie and camaraderie among the football fraternity.
Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce made his mark on the Derby festivities, making an appearance in the VIP area shortly after midnight. The Derby, traditionally held on the first Saturday in May, marks the inaugural leg of the prestigious Triple Crown, inviting a field of 20 three-year-old thoroughbreds to compete in a 1¼-mile stampede for a share of the $5 million prize purse.
Notably absent from this year's race was Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, whose two-year ban was extended through 2024, resulting in the absence of a Baffert-trained horse in the event for the third consecutive year.
