Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie plans to leave Los Angeles once her children reach adulthood, seeking a more private life away from the spotlight.
Angelina Jolie, the esteemed actress and humanitarian, recently shared her aspirations to leave Los Angeles behind. In an intimate interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jolie spoke candidly about her personal life, particularly regarding her children's well-being and her ongoing divorce from actor Brad Pitt.
Despite having grown up in Los Angeles, Jolie's current residence in the city is solely due to the legal proceedings surrounding her divorce. She expressed a longing for a life beyond the Hollywood Hills, where she can prioritize privacy and peace for her family.

"When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety," Jolie explained. "I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here."
Jolie's brood includes six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16. She anticipates having more freedom once her younger children reach adulthood.

Jolie and Pitt's divorce, which began in 2016, has been a lengthy and contentious process. While Jolie declined to provide specific details about its current status, she emphasized that her focus remains on creating a stable environment for her children.
At the ongoing Venice Film Festival, both Jolie and Pitt will be present for the screenings of their respective films, "Maria" and "Wolves." However, festival organizers have carefully planned their schedules to prevent any potential interactions between the estranged couple.

Despite their ongoing legal battle over their winery, Château Miraval, Pitt and Jolie are being kept apart to avoid any unnecessary confrontations. Jolie's legal team has accused Pitt of attempting to control and punish her, while Pitt's representatives maintain that the winery dispute is a purely business matter.
As Jolie prepares to embark on a new chapter in her life, she remains dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for her children. Her desire for privacy and family harmony guides her decision to leave Los Angeles, seeking a place where she can embrace a more fulfilling and meaningful existence.
