CNN commentator Scott Jennings has accused the Democratic Party of failing to adequately address the growing problem of antisemitism on college campuses. Jennings claims that the party is not being honest about antisemitism concerns within its ranks and argues that the problem lies primarily on the left.

CNN commentator Scott Jennings has accused the Democratic Party of not doing enough to denounce the growing antisemitism on college campuses. Jennings made the remarks during a debate on "CNN This Morning" about former President Trump's attempts to appeal to Jewish voters.

"Everybody at this table knows where the source of antisemitism is in this country," Jennings said. "It is not on the right."

Jennings argued that Democrats are not being honest in acknowledging the growing antisemitism concerns within their party. He pointed to the anti-Israel protests that have occurred on several college campuses, including Columbia and Brown University.

"Let's talk about what's going on [at] all these college campuses," he said. "Let's talk about what's going on the streets of New York City."

Jennings also defended former President Trump for his support of Israel, saying he had "strong pro-Israel policies" and took "a hard line against Iran."

"The antisemitism problem in this country is on the left," he added. "It is not on the right."

Jennings' comments sparked an argument with Executive Director for Republican Voters Against Trump, Sarah Longwell. Longwell accused Jennings of ignoring Trump's ties to white nationalists and antisemitic figures.

"You are stumping for Trump in a way that tries to ignore that he himself dined with a White supremacist" and "cozied up" to Marjorie Taylor Greene, Longwell said.

Jennings argued that anti-Israel protesters are still more highly concentrated on the left, telling Longwell, "That's your party now, those are your people. Those are the people you seek to represent. That's your coalition."

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

The accusations of antisemitism on college campuses follow the recent Israel-Hamas conflict. Several anti-Israel protests have been held on campuses across the country, with some protesters making antisemitic statements.

In a recent op-ed, former Brown University trustee Dan Dicker announced his resignation from the board of trustees. Dicker cited the university's decision to consider divesting from Israel as a factor in his resignation.

"Cowardice is contagious," Dicker wrote. "It is rampant on college campuses today, and the Brown administration has succumbed to the disease."

The issue of antisemitism on college campuses is a complex one, with different perspectives on the causes and extent of the problem. It is important to have an open and honest dialogue about the issue in order to find solutions that will protect Jewish students and ensure their safety and well-being on campus.
