President Biden's debate preparation has raised concerns among commentators, with Charlamagne Tha God predicting a "bad situation" for the president.
President Biden is currently at Camp David, engaged in final strategy sessions before his highly anticipated debate with former President Donald Trump on Thursday. The debate, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, will be the first in-person face-off between the two candidates since the 2020 election cycle.
Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of the popular podcast "The Brilliant Idiots," expressed his concerns about Biden's performance in the debate. He predicted that the president's age and the rules of the debate, which include muted microphones outside of speaking time, could put him at a disadvantage against Trump.

"Do you not want Trump to be interrupted? ... You're thinking about it one way, you're just going to let Trump go, and you can't jump in, and you 80-plus years old and trying to keep up with every single lie he's going to lay out?" Charlamagne said. "Are you serious? Biden's not going to be able to keep up!"
Charlamagne likened the debate to a "real, live freestyle battle" and compared it to a "must-see TV" event. He predicted that Trump would unleash a barrage of jokes and attacks against Biden, exploiting the muted microphone rule to his advantage.

"Donald Trump is dangerous because he's funny, he's dangerous because he's funny. He's going to give us one of the greatest stand-up specials we've ever seen on June 27," Charlamagne said.
He also questioned Biden's approach to the debate, suggesting that the president's emphasis on decorum would not serve him well.

"If you go in there with that mentality, you already f------ lost," he added.
CNN contributor Van Jones echoed Charlamagne's concerns, warning that any slip-up by Biden in the debate could spell disaster for his presidency.
"Because if Biden goes out there and messes up, it's game over," Jones said. "But if he goes in there and he can handle himself against Donald Trump ... then this guy deserves another shot to be president, because that is tough."
The Biden campaign has remained tight-lipped about its strategy for the debate. However, sources close to the president indicate that he has been preparing extensively, studying Trump's previous debates and seeking advice from a team of advisors.
The debate is expected to be watched by millions of Americans and will be a critical moment in the upcoming midterm elections. The outcome could have significant implications for the political landscape and the future of the country.
