Biden's America: Common Sense and Rule of Law Abandoned

Fox News host Laura Ingraham has launched a scathing attack on the Biden administration, accusing it of abandoning common sense and the rule of law. Ingraham's comments come in response to anti-Israel protesters who defaced statues in the nation's capital over the weekend.

"With Biden in office, common sense and the rule of law are out the window," Ingraham declared in her opening monologue on Monday's "The Ingraham Angle."

Biden's America: Common Sense and Rule of Law Abandoned

Ingraham cited several laws that could and should be used against the protesters, including 18 U.S.C. 1361, which punishes the willful injury of federal property with up to 10 years imprisonment. She also pointed to an executive order issued by the Trump administration in 2020 that mandates the prosecution of anyone destroying or damaging monuments or memorials.

"But with Biden in office, common sense and the rule of law are out the window," Ingraham repeated.

Ingraham contrasted the Biden administration's handling of these protests with its treatment of pro-life demonstrators, January 6th defendants, and former President Trump. "The fact is, Biden, Kamala Harris, Merrick Garland and all these college administrators, they're always going to cut a break to the people who hate America," she said.

Ingraham accused the Biden administration of operating two sets of laws: one for friends of the regime and one for its enemies. "As long as you're just defending traditional Americans, Christians, others, or if you could potentially help Democrats, you basically can do whatever you want," she said.

Ingraham concluded by warning that the Biden administration's failure to enforce the law is emboldening criminals and undermining the rule of law. "If a bunch of 20-somethings from Oklahoma, though, threw red paint on the Black Lives Matter mural on 16th Street, which is right across from the park, they'd already have been arrested. They'd been arrested on the spot," she said.

Ingraham's comments reflect growing concerns about the erosion of the rule of law under the Biden administration. Critics have accused the administration of failing to prosecute violent criminals, tolerating political violence, and undermining the independence of law enforcement.

The Biden administration has defended its record on law enforcement, arguing that it is committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting the safety of all Americans. However, critics say that the administration's actions do not match its rhetoric.

The debate over the rule of law in Biden's America is likely to continue as the administration faces mounting criticism for its handling of law enforcement issues.
