MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace expressed frustration with President Biden's response to concerns about his use of violent rhetoric, highlighting the threat of "right-wing domestic violent extremism."

MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace erupted in frustration over President Biden's handling of concerns about his rhetoric, arguing that the biggest threat to the nation is "right-wing domestic violent extremism."

The outburst came during a live coverage of the Republican National Convention, sparked by Biden's admission that he had erred in suggesting former President Trump should be put "in a bullseye" days before an assassination attempt on Trump.

"There was one way to answer that question, and it was, 'Lester, should I use the word bullseye or crosshair? No, but the FBI director that Donald Trump selected, his name is Christopher Wray, and he testified under oath before Congress that the greatest threat to this country is no longer foreign terrorism. It's domestic violent extremism,'" Wallace exclaimed, her voice rising with anger.

She emphasized that within the threat of domestic violent extremism, "the biggest bucket by far is right-wing domestic violent extremism."

Wallace's comments were echoed by left-wing New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay.

The show, known for its lack of debate, typically features a chorus of voices aligned with the host's left-wing views.

However, Wallace was not the only MSNBC anchor critical of Biden's interview. "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough accused interviewer Lester Holt of "phony moral relativism" for failing to include Trump's own controversial rhetoric in his questioning.

Meanwhile, Biden has called for a "lower temperature" in political discourse, while continuing to criticize Trump's previous statements.

Despite Biden's call for unity, his own rhetoric has drawn scrutiny, with some suggesting it could incite violence.
