Fox News host Laura Ingraham calls out the Biden campaign's post-debate relaunch as a disaster, highlighting the president's plummeting poll numbers and the White House's efforts to cover up his shortcomings.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham has excoriated the Biden administration, claiming that its credibility has been "shredded" and that it is playing a "reckless game" by downplaying concerns about the president's health and cognitive abilities.
Ingraham's scathing remarks came during her "The Ingraham Angle" segment on Monday, where she pointed to Biden's dismal poll numbers and recent lackluster performance in the Democratic presidential primary debates.
Biden's Credibility Shredded, White House Playing Reckless Game, Says Ingraham
"Although he somehow tries to deny it, Biden's poll numbers are cratering – swing states, national approval ratings, all of it!" Ingraham declared.
She cited a recent poll conducted by Democrats for the Next Generation, a liberal group, which showed Trump leading Biden by an average of four points across the board, including a staggering five-point margin in Pennsylvania.
Ingraham characterized the day after Biden's debate appearance as the "unofficial Biden campaign post-debate disaster relaunch," a feeble attempt by the former vice president to regain momentum.
She mocked Biden's phone call to MSNBC's "Morning Joe," where he defiantly declared that he was "not going anywhere," despite growing calls from within his own party for him to step aside.
"Today, the White House succeeded in showcasing Biden, though, as an angry old man on MSNBC with his staff doing the same thing they've done for three and a half years: Covering for him so they can just cover for themselves after all," Ingraham said.
She condemned the Democrats for their role in this "charade," expressing her conviction that they will face the consequences in the upcoming election.
"It's a hideous, and it's a reckless game they're playing. And the Democrats deserve every bit of what they're going to get in November for their part in this charade," Ingraham asserted.
Ingraham's comments echoed those of other conservative pundits, who have expressed concerns about Biden's fitness for office. They have pointed to his frequent gaffes, his lack of energy, and his tendency to lose his train of thought during public appearances.
The White House has repeatedly dismissed these criticisms, maintaining that Biden is in good health and mentally sharp. However, the growing chorus of concern is raising doubts about the president's ability to serve effectively for the remainder of his term.
