Fox News host Jesse Watters blasts President Biden for his refusal to drop out of the 2024 race, arguing that Biden is holding the Democratic Party hostage and threatening their chances in the upcoming election.
In his latest episode of "Jesse Watters Primetime," Fox News host Jesse Watters unleashed a scathing attack on President Biden's handling of calls for him to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. Watters argued that Biden is holding the Democratic Party "captive" by vowing to stay in the race, regardless of the party's wishes.
"This morning, he sent a ransom note... with a list of demands telling the Democrats he's firmly committed to staying in this race, whether they like it or not," Watters exclaimed. "While Democrats are looking around saying, if we stick with you, we all get hurt."

Watters highlighted the fact that if Democrats lose with Biden, they will not have an opportunity to run anyone else in his place. He dismissed Biden's excuse that it would be unfair to the Democrats who have already voted for him, suggesting that the party does not prioritize voter integrity.
Watters likened Biden's refusal to resign to a hostage crisis, accusing the president of being "bunkered up with Hunter holding the party hostage." He pointed to Biden's recent interview with "Morning Joe," in which the president dismissed concerns about his age and mental fitness and lashed out at the media for questioning him.

"Like a bunch of Arab Spring breakers, Democrats are gnashing their teeth at the gates of the White House, demanding Joe come out with his hands up," Watters said.
Watters argued that Biden's continued presence in the race will damage the Democratic Party's chances in the 2024 election. He pointed to Biden's low approval ratings and the fact that many Democrats are seeking other candidates to replace him.
"The Democratic Party has become a hostage to Biden's ambition," Watters concluded. "They are prisoners to a president who is out of touch with reality and out of step with the American people."
Watters' comments reflect the growing unrest within the Democratic Party over Biden's decision to run again. Several Democratic lawmakers have publicly expressed concerns about Biden's age and fitness for office, and some have even called for him to drop out of the race.
Despite the pressure, Biden has vowed to remain in the race. He has said that he is confident that he can win a second term and that he is "not going to let anyone tell him" otherwise.
