Fox News host Laura Ingraham blasts the Biden administration for its relentless pursuit of diversity and activism at the expense of competence and merit in judicial appointments. She warns that Democrats aim to control the judiciary to validate their radical policies, undermining the Constitution and common sense.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham has vehemently criticized the Biden administration's judicial appointments, alleging that the Democrats are prioritizing diversity and activism over competence and merit. She argues that Democrats are exploiting the courts to validate their extreme policies, regardless of the Constitution, the rule of law, or biological realities.
Ingraham's comments came during a discussion on "The Ingraham Angle" about the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on several Biden judicial nominees. She highlighted the questioning of one nominee over a transgender inmate transfer request despite their previous sex crimes convictions.
"The Democrats were hoping to squeak these nominees through — all of them women — knowing that Americans don't really see much of these hearings," Ingraham said. "But today's was a doozy, and it was illustrative of the Democrats' perversion of our Article III courts."
Ingraham emphasized that the Biden administration's first term has seen significant court losses due to their lack of control over the judiciary. However, she warned that the Democrats are determined to alter the balance of power by appointing judges who will support their radical agenda.
"They're doing everything possible to get there," Ingraham asserted. "And if they do, you're going to find that criminals will be treated better than most law-abiding Americans. And traditional Christians? They'll be totally run over."
Ingraham condemned the hearing as "staggering" and called for a Republican Senate and the return of Donald Trump to the White House to counter the Democrats' "unconstitutional madness."
"We need to put Donald Trump back in the White House," Ingraham declared. "He's the only person who can save us from this nightmare."
Ingraham's criticisms echo concerns raised by conservative commentators and legal experts about the potential impact of liberal judges on the American legal system. They fear that the judiciary will become increasingly politicized and instrumentalized to advance progressive policies.
Critics of the Biden administration's judicial appointments argue that diversity should not be the primary consideration in selecting judges. They maintain that competence, experience, and a commitment to upholding the Constitution should be paramount.
As the Senate Judiciary Committee continues to consider the Biden nominees, Ingraham's rhetoric is likely to intensify the debate over judicial appointments and the future direction of the American courts.
