Country music star Billy Ray Cyrus has accused his estranged wife, Firerose, of fraudulently spending $96,000 on his credit card without authorization, prompting him to file an emergency motion for a temporary restraining order.

Billy Ray Cyrus, known for his hit song "Achy Breaky Heart," has filed an emergency motion for a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Firerose, alleging she fraudulently spent $96,000 on his American Express business card without authorization.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Cyrus claims that 37 unauthorized charges were made on his card by Firerose, whose legal name is Johanna Hodges. He expressed concern that she may have possession of other information that she could use to make additional fraudulent charges to his business and personal accounts.

Firerose, in response, has filed a document in court claiming there is "no emergency." She alleges that she has had access to the American Express card since October 2023 and that she was simply living as she had been during the marriage.

Cyrus had previously agreed to provide Firerose with financial support during the divorce proceedings. In an order filed in May, he agreed to pay $500 per night for 10 nights for her to stay in a hotel or Airbnb, and $5,000 per month for "suitable" housing for 90 days or until the marriage is dissolved.

However, Cyrus has now filed for an annulment, citing "irreconcilable differences" and alleging "inappropriate marital conduct." The grounds for annulment are listed as "consent to marriage was obtained by fraud," and their date of separation is listed as May 22, 2024.

According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Cyrus believes Firerose "isn't the person he thought he married" and alleges that she married him for financial reasons. Sources close to the singer have stated that he is "disappointed" and "wants her out of his life."

Cyrus and Firerose were married on October 10, 2023, on the musician's Tennessee property. They first met on the set of "Hannah Montana" over 13 years ago.

The couple's divorce proceedings are ongoing, and the next hearing is scheduled for July 20. It remains to be seen how the allegations of fraudulent spending and inappropriate marital conduct will impact the outcome of the case.
