Rep. Jamaal Bowman unleashes expletives at AIPAC during a rally, vowing the "motherf---ing South Bronx" will show their power, as fellow "Squad" member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez bangs the podium and shouts over Cardi B's lyrics.

Bronx, NY - Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York ignited a firestorm with his expletive-laden speech at a Saturday rally, where he hurled insults at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Political Action Committee (AIPAC) and vowed to show them the "power of the motherf---ing South Bronx." The rally was held in St. Mary's Park in Mott Haven and was attended by fellow progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, who showed their support for Bowman in his upcoming Democratic primary race.

Bowman's speech was riddled with profanity and personal attacks on AIPAC, which is supporting his Democratic primary challenger, Westchester County Executive George Latimer. "We are going to show f---ing AIPAC, the power of the motherf---ing South Bronx!" Bowman exclaimed, eliciting cheers from the crowd. Jumping around the stage, he continued, "People ask me why I got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You're coming after me! You're coming after my family! You're coming after my children! I'm not supposed to fight back?"

Ocasio-Cortez, known for her outspokenness and social media presence, also took to the stage and displayed an unusual display of exuberance. Footage captured her emphatically banging the podium and knocking over her microphones at one point. She shouted over sexually explicit lyrics from Cardi B's song "Enough" that played over the speakers during her remarks.

At one point, Bowman, wearing a yellow T-shirt with his sleeves rolled up, waved a wooden stool up and down on the Bronx stage, leading the crowd in a chant of, "Cease-fire now, cease-fire now." This was a reference to the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, which has been a major issue in the Democratic Party, dividing progressives and moderates.

Bowman's speech, particularly his use of profanity, drew criticism from Rep. Ritchie Torres, a Democrat from the Bronx who has distanced himself from the Congressional Progressive Caucus due to differences on Israel. Torres took to Twitter to express his disapproval of Bowman's rant, calling it "unhinged" and "unbecoming of a Member of Congress."

"The level of profanity here is so shocking as to be unbecoming of a Member of Congress," Torres wrote. "There is nothing in Jamaal Bowman's unhinged tirade that remotely resembles the decency of the people I know and represent in the South Bronx."

Bowman's primary race against Latimer has become a battleground between progressives and moderates in the Democratic Party. Latimer has garnered support from former Rep. Mondaire Jones and Hillary Clinton, while Torres has not officially endorsed either candidate. However, Torres indicated that Bowman's attack on his character might prompt him to rethink his non-endorsement policy.

The outcome of the primary will have implications for the Democratic Party's stance on Israel and the progressive movement within the party. Bowman's fiery speech and Torres' criticism only serve to highlight the deep divisions within the party on these issues.
