Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered in the Bronx for a Trump campaign event, expressing their support for his re-election bid. Democrat Lattina Brown and victims' rights advocate Madeline Brame shared their reasons for backing Trump, citing the need for a shift in leadership, law and order, and initiatives to address youth issues.
Bronx resident Lattina Brown, a self-identified Democrat, announced her decision to vote for former President Trump during an appearance on "The Ingraham Angle." She emphasized the need for a change in leadership, asserting that the current political landscape has failed to address pressing issues such as housing, homelessness, mental illness, crime, and inflation.
"We've been voting down the same party for years now, and nothing has changed," Brown said. "It's time that we unite – Democrats, Republicans, independents, and conservatives – and start voting in this general election. We need a change in leadership."
Madeline Brame, a victims' rights advocate and New York City resident, shared similar sentiments, emphasizing the importance of law and order.
"We need to restore law and order in New York City and every major city across this country," Brame said. "We can't keep losing our young people to violence. We need initiatives to replace drugs and guns with opportunities for education, job training, and community involvement."
Brown, who is also one of the organizers of the Trump march held in the South Bronx, explained that the pre-rally team aimed to send a clear message to Democrats and the DNC.
"We want common-sense leadership, and we're not going to sit back and allow the destruction of our country," Brown stated. "Trump is trying to unite all of us together. We should not be fighting along party lines. It should be about all of us coming together to address the challenges we face."
The Bronx rally drew a significant crowd, demonstrating the support for Trump's re-election campaign. The event featured speeches from Trump himself, along with various supporters and allies.
The gathering served as a testament to the diversity of Trump's support base, with attendees from different backgrounds and political affiliations coming together to express their shared desire for change.
The event also highlighted the growing frustration among New Yorkers with the current state of affairs, as many expressed their belief that Trump represents a departure from the status quo and a chance for a brighter future.
Trump's message of unity and economic empowerment resonated with voters, particularly among those who feel underserved by the current political system.
The Bronx rally marked a significant moment in Trump's campaign, demonstrating the growing momentum behind his re-election bid and the desire for change among voters.
