Charlamagne pointed out that Democrats have a golden opportunity to capitalize on the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade, which has put Republicans on the defensive. However, instead of seizing the initiative, Democrats have stumbled over messaging that lacks authenticity and fails to inspire the public.

"They need to learn something more basic: how to talk like real people," Charlamagne said. "The message is terrible, but it's clear! When [Trump] says, 'Build the wall! Lock her up! I hate sharks!' No one goes, 'I wonder what he means?'"

According to Charlamagne, voters appreciate authenticity, even when they disagree with the ideas being espoused. Democrats, on the other hand, often come across as fake and disingenuous, even when discussing their accomplishments.

"And I know that they're capable of sounding real," Charlamagne said. "I talk to a lot of these politicians behind the scenes, I hear how they speak when the mic's not on, and it's two totally different people."

Charlamagne cited Hillary Clinton as an example of a politician who is a "real human" but who struggled to communicate effectively with voters during her presidential campaign.

"I've talked to Hillary behind the scenes, and trust me, she's a real human!" he said. "I know you won't believe this, but she can even say a great 'motherf-----.'"

Charlamagne concluded his critique by suggesting that Democrats have lost touch with the average American's language and concerns. "They need to figure out how to speak to the people in a way that they can understand," he said. "Otherwise, they're going to keep losing elections."
