Chris Hemsworth has added another skill to his impressive resume: drumming. The "Avengers" star debuted his newly acquired musical abilities at an Ed Sheeran concert, much to the delight of the crowd.
The heartwarming performance was also part of a promotional tease for the second season of Hemsworth's National Geographic series, "Limitless with Chris Hemsworth." In the video, Sheeran explains that Hemsworth emailed him last December, expressing his desire to learn an instrument for the show, which explores the cognitive benefits of playing music.

Hemsworth, who has since mastered the drums, joined Sheeran on stage in front of a roaring crowd of 70,000 people. The "Shape of You" singer introduced the actor to the audience and revealed a snippet of Hemsworth's drumming skills during Sheeran's performance of "Thinking Out Loud."
The crowd erupted in thunderous applause, and backstage, the two stars embraced, with Sheeran presenting Hemsworth with a participation award for "drumming excellence." Hemsworth shared his gratitude, admitting that he had been thinking about the performance for quite some time and was relieved to finally have it behind him.
