Chris Kirkpatrick, the beloved singer from the iconic boy band *NSYNC, has found his new home away from the spotlight in the heart of Nashville. Having relocated to the Music City eight years ago with his wife, Kirkpatrick is now fully immersed in the vibrant country music scene and the charming ambiance that Nashville offers.

Reflecting on his move to Nashville, Kirkpatrick confesses, "I don't know what took us so long to get here. We've been here eight years now, and just the town, it's a beautiful town." He elaborates, "I'm talking about the experience, the whole package that is Nashville."

Kirkpatrick's family has fully embraced their life in Nashville, including his 6-year-old son, Nash, who was born in the city. "And he really loves the town, I think sometimes he gets upset with my wife and I when he knows that we lived in Orlando, right by Disney World," Kirkpatrick says with a chuckle. "And here I'm like, 'Yeah, but if we would have stayed, maybe your name would have been Oral.'"

Despite his love for Nashville, Kirkpatrick admits that even if the city were "horrible," it would still be an extraordinary place to live because of its people. "The people here are just unbelievable," he emphasizes. "We feel like we have to step up our game again and match the politeness and niceness that is Nashville."

Kirkpatrick is particularly fond of Nashville's thriving bar scene, especially the famous honky-tonks on Broadway. He remarks, "Garth Brooks' bar, Friends in Low Places, is amazing. That place is amazing." The singer also expresses his desire to have Garth Brooks as a guest on his podcast, "Name Drop," hosted with Brian McFayden, a former MTV star.

Kirkpatrick explains the inspiration behind "Name Drop": "We were hanging out together a few years ago with friends, and we were just telling stories about the MTV days or whatever, and people that were around us were looking at us like, 'These guys are just sitting here dropping names the entire time.'" He believes that sharing stories about encounters with notable figures can provide valuable insights and entertainment.

Reflecting on his career and the music industry, Kirkpatrick shares, "I've got everywhere from Stevie Wonder to Paul McCartney, which was great, but I think, doing a song with Phil Collins and being in the vocal booth at the same time, it was just him and I, and I'm singing and I'm realizing, you know, 'No Jacket Required' was the first cassette tape I ever owned." He adds, "Those are the stories that are the best stories."

Kirkpatrick also comments on the recent *NSYNC reunion during Justin Timberlake's show in Los Angeles, acknowledging the shift in concert experiences due to the widespread use of cellphones. "It was the first show that I ever walked out on the stage and didn't see one single face," he recalls. "I mean, the entire auditorium, I didn't see one smile." He observed that people were preoccupied with filming the event, which hindered his ability to connect with the audience.
