Chris Pratt, a father of three, has delved into the contrasting experiences of raising boys and girls, sharing his insights into the unique challenges and rewards associated with each gender.

In an interview with E! News, Pratt acknowledged the significant emotional differences he has observed between his daughters and son. "I hate to make generalizations based on gender," he said, "but in my experience, girls are more emotional."

Pratt, who shares two daughters, Lyla and Eloise, with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, and a son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris, noted that his approach to parenting his girls is noticeably different. "They've got me wrapped around their finger. It's wild," he admitted.

The actor explained that his daughters' emotional sensitivity requires a gentler touch. "I'll hit them with a pillow, and they'll go, 'Daddy, that hurt my feelings,'" he said, contrasting their reactions to those of his son. "They like to hear stories more than they like to wrestle."

Another area where Pratt has noticed significant differences is in the level of planning required for his daughters' daily schedules. "My daughters take after their mother, who is incredibly organized," he said.

While Pratt's daughters exhibit similarities, he emphasizes that each child is unique. "Even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different," he said.

Pratt's parenting philosophy is driven by a desire to be present and available for his children. "It works nicely to have a job that allows me to put my kids to bed at night and be present," he said.

The actor, who recently voiced the titular character in "The Garfield Movie," believes that voiceover work provides him with the flexibility to balance his professional and personal responsibilities. "Doing 'voice work' means that's a movie I don't have to be on the road," he explained.

Pratt's approach to parenting is marked by a deep understanding of the individual needs of his children. By adapting his style to the unique traits of each gender, he aims to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all of his kids.
