Despite being a rookie, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has skyrocketed to the top spot on the NFLPA's list of top-selling player merchandise, surpassing last year's leader, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has revealed its top 10 player merchandise sales across officially licensed products from March 1 to May 31, and there's a new king at the summit.
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, a rookie sensation, has dethroned last year's top seller, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, to take the No. 1 spot. In his first NFL season, Stroud earned Pro Bowl honors, Offensive Rookie of the Year accolades, and helped the Texans capture the AFC South division title, advancing to the divisional round.

Joining Stroud in the top 10 are four other quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs), Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals), Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers), and Hurts. Mahomes, a two-time NFL MVP and champion, continues to dominate the field with his exceptional play. Burrow has propelled the Bengals to Super Bowl contention, while Purdy has emerged as a rising star in the 49ers' offense.
Detroit Lions defenders Aidan Hutchinson and Amon-Ra St. Brown have also made their mark on the list. Hutchinson, a menace on the defensive line, is a two-time Pro Bowler who led Detroit to the NFC Championship Game in 2023. St. Brown, a dynamic receiver, has established himself as one of the league's best, earning two Pro Bowl nods and signing a lucrative contract extension with the Lions.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, acquired from the New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, a two-time All-Pro, round out the top 10. Barkley's impressive career includes Pro Bowl selections, 1,000-yard rushing seasons, and 10-touchdown seasons, while Parsons is a defensive force with multiple 13-sack seasons and Pro Bowl honors.
The absence of Tom Brady, who retired after the 2022 season, is notable on this year's list. Brady had been a mainstay in the top 10 for many years, reflecting his immense popularity and legacy in the NFL.
The NFL's top stars continue to drive merchandise sales, with fans eager to show their support for their favorite players. The NFLPA's list provides a glimpse into the marketability and popularity of the league's elite performers.
