"I studied acting for years," Kimber recalled. "But as a single mom, I had to prioritize raising my son. I waitressed at night and auditioned during the day."

A chance encounter with her future boss at Marmalade Cafe in Westlake ignited her interest in makeup artistry. "He invited me to visit the 'Wheel of Fortune' set and check out their makeup department," she said.

Intrigued, Kimber began honing her skills in makeup while also pursuing independent film and short film projects. A year later, she received a call for a position in the contestant department at "Wheel of Fortune."

"I jumped at the opportunity," said Kimber. "I loved connecting with the contestants and making them feel confident and excited for their stage appearance."

Eventually, Kimber's talents led her to become the makeup artist for both Pat Sajak and Vanna White. "They are the kindest and most humble people to work for," she praised.

When Sajak announced his retirement, Kimber expressed her enthusiasm for Ryan Seacrest as his replacement. "Ryan stepped into the role effortlessly," she exclaimed. "He's a seasoned host, witty, and sharp. I believe he's the perfect fit."
