Hunt's comments come after the discovery of the body of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in a Houston creek. Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, were subsequently arrested and charged with capital murder.

According to sources within the Department of Homeland Security, both suspects had illegally crossed into El Paso, Texas, in recent months and were released into the United States despite having Notice to Appear court dates.
