Country music singer Rory Feek has addressed concerns raised by his older daughters about the well-being of their 10-year-old sister, Indiana, denying allegations of neglect and claiming his youngest daughter is "better cared for than she has ever been."
Country singer Rory Feek has released a lengthy blog post addressing allegations from his older daughters regarding the well-being of their 10-year-old sister, Indiana. Feek's daughters, Heidi and Hopie, had raised concerns online about Indiana's care, claiming she had been left with individuals with a history of child abuse.
In his blog post, titled "love, dad," Feek vehemently denies the allegations, stating that Indiana "has never been more loved or better cared for than she is right now." He notes that for the first time, Indiana has a mother figure in his wife, Rebecca, whom she married in July. Feek emphasizes that Indiana had longed for a mother since her biological mother, Joey, passed away from cervical cancer in 2016.

Feek addresses the specific allegations of neglect, stating that while he and Rebecca were on their honeymoon, Indiana stayed with two families that she was close to. He also rejects claims that Homestead Heritage or Greycliff, two communities associated with Feek, are cults.
He writes, "Those folks are just living in a way that other people don’t like or understand, and it’s a whole lot easier to call something a cult and dismiss it than it is to look deeper into and actually find out what it is they are doing and why they’re doing it."

Feek acknowledges that he is not a perfect father but denies being "an idiot" and insists he would never knowingly put his daughter in danger. He also clarifies that while Heidi and Hopie had been allowed to speak with Indiana in the past, their right was revoked after Child Protective Services investigated allegations of neglect.
Feek expresses his sadness over the situation and his desire for them to resolve their differences offline. He writes, "This is not how it should be done. Instagram and Facebook are not the places where we should, as people and families, be settling our disputes or differences."

In response to Feek's blog post, Heidi shared several posts on Instagram, expressing her disappointment and refuting some of her father's claims. She alleges that Feek had previously told them they were no longer his daughters and questions the care Indiana is receiving from his current wife.
Heidi also raises concerns about individuals at Homestead Heritage, alleging that there are "numerous" convicted pedophiles within the community. She maintains that she and Hopie are not the only ones speaking out and that others from Homestead Heritage have expressed their concerns.

Feek concludes his blog post by expressing his love for his daughters and asking for prayers and support. He writes, "Pray for us. Pray that we will put our selfishness aside and choose to love each other. Pray that we will put our devices and our accusations down, swallow our pride, and get in the same room, without legal counsel or mediators, and begin talking and listening to each other, even if it’s hard and uncomfortable."
