According to court records, Chigvintsev was arrested on Thursday, August 25th, at approximately 9:40 am and booked at 10:40 am. He is facing charges under California Penal Code Section 273.5(a) PC, which pertains to domestic violence or corporal injury to a spouse, former spouse, cohabitant, former cohabitant, or the mother or father of his or her child.

Chigvintsev's bail has been set at $25,000. It is unclear at this time if his wife, "Total Divas" star Nikki Bella, was involved in the incident.
