Several House Democrats facing tough re-election fights have accepted substantial donations from a prominent political family that has also funded organizations involved in anti-Jewish protests on college campuses and across the country.

The Pritzker family, the wealthy owners of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars this election cycle to vulnerable Democratic candidates, as well as to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and House Majority PAC.

However, the Pritzker family has also provided support to organizations engaged in anti-Israel protests, which have sparked widespread condemnation and led to thousands of arrests.

According to a Politico report, the Pritzkers founded the Libra Foundation, a group that funds smaller, more focused nonprofits, many of which have been active in the anti-Israel protests.

One of these organizations, the Climate Justice Alliance, has used the term "Genocide Joe" to criticize President Biden over his handling of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Another group, Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity, has promoted anti-Israel demonstrations.

The Immigrant Defense Project, another Pritzker-funded organization, participated in a protest in Washington, D.C., that resulted in several arrests.

The Pritzkers are also funders of the Tides Foundation, which supports Adalah Justice Project, an organization that took part in a recent protest at Columbia University.

Democrats receiving donations from the Pritzkers include Reps. Mary Peltola (D-Alaska), Mike Levin (D-Calif.), Eric Sorensen (D-Ill.), Sharice Davids (D-Kan.), Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.), Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio), Susan Wild (D-Pa.), Matt Cartwright (D-Pa.), Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.).

Fox News Digital has reached out to these candidates, the DCCC, the House Majority PAC, and members of the Pritzker family for comment.

A spokesperson for Gluesenkamp Perez's campaign stated that she is a strong supporter of Israel's right to self-defense and opposes political violence and angry mobs.

In addition to the Pritzkers, liberal billionaire George Soros is also a funder of the Tides Foundation. Tides funds other small progressive groups, including the Adalah Justice Project.

The connections between prominent Democrats and groups involved in anti-Israel protests have raised questions about the candidates' positions on the issue and the role of such groups in electoral politics.
