Fox News host Jesse Watters analyzes the third night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), highlighting the absence of policy discussions and the reliance on prominent former figures, including Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi.
Democrats are rolling out prominent figures from their past, including Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, for night three of their national convention, a move that underscores their lack of focus on policy and their reliance on nostalgia.
Fox News host Jesse Watters pointed out that the DNC has been marked by a glaring absence of policy discussions, with speakers instead focusing on emotional appeals and personal anecdotes. This strategy, reminiscent of former President Barack Obama's "hope and change" message, is indicative of a party that has prioritized style over substance.

"A party focused on one man can't be focused on you," Watters said. "This is the Obama strategy: heavy on hope, light on action."
The appearance of Clinton and Pelosi, both veterans of the Democratic establishment, further illustrates the party's unwillingness to embrace new ideas and move forward.

"Democrats are dusting off Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi," Watters said. "These are relics of a bygone era. They represent the past, not the future."
While the Obamas delivered powerful and persuasive speeches on the second night of the convention, Watters cautioned viewers not to fall for their empty rhetoric.
"Their message last night was claim you're so virtuous you don't have to discuss your record or policies," he said. "The Democrats apparently have a monopoly on morality, and if you vote Republican, you're just a selfish and greedy ghoul."
By relying on Clinton, Pelosi, and other figures from their past, the Democrats are signaling to voters that they lack new ideas and are unwilling to address the challenges facing the country.
"This is a party that has lost its way," Watters said. "They're more interested in playing the victim than finding solutions to real problems."
As the convention enters its final night, it remains to be seen whether the Democrats can offer any substance beyond their emotional appeals and hollow promises.
Meanwhile, on the Republican side, President Donald Trump has been highlighting the Democrats' record of failure and emphasizing his own focus on policy.
"Do I still have to stick to policy?" Trump asked at a recent rally. "I don't know. They're not doing it."
The contrast between the two parties' approaches couldn't be starker, and it remains to be seen which approach will resonate more with voters.
