The conference, scheduled for June 20-22 in Washington, D.C., is regarded as the largest public policy gathering of conservative Christian activists in the United States. It focuses on issues of paramount importance to voters of faith, providing a stage for potential vice presidential candidates to display their stances and seek Trump's endorsement.

Among the notable speakers are Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, and Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty. Youngkin, Noem, Carson, and Gabbard have all been mentioned as potential running mates for Trump.

Ralph Reed, the founder of F&F, emphasized the significance of the conference by underscoring the sizable influence of voters of faith in electoral outcomes. "Roughly 27% of the electorate is self-identified born again evangelical. Another roughly 11% are frequently mass-attending pro-life Roman Catholics. You're talking about 38% of the electorate," he explained.

Reed acknowledged the heightened focus on abortion as a political issue, particularly among Democrats. However, he expressed confidence that voters driven to the polls by abortion-related ballot initiatives would not necessarily automatically support Democratic candidates.

Regarding the selection of a potential running mate, Reed declined to specify his preferred choice but stated, "You would have to go back to 1980 to find a shortlist with as many qualified and capable people."

F&F anticipated the possibility of adding more speakers to the conference lineup.

The conference presents a prime opportunity for individuals considered for the vice presidential slot to articulate their positions on policies that resonate with voters of faith, potentially influencing Trump's ultimate decision.
