The fencing replacement project will involve the installation of new fencing along the perimeter of the park, as well as around designated areas such as the playground and dog park. In addition to the fencing project, the Commission also discussed several other agenda items, including:
* Approving a contract with K&K Construction for the installation of new playground equipment at Burgess Park.
* Accepting a donation of $10,000 from the Friends of Fargo Parks for the purchase of new trees for Scheels Family Field.
* Discussing the upcoming budget for the 2024 fiscal year.
The Commission also received updates from staff on various projects and programs, including the progress of the Rheault Farm Master Plan and the upcoming Winter Wonderland event.
