A Florida woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her 4-year-old son, Joseph. Arayiah Hudson, 36, is accused of inflicting blunt force trauma to the boy's head and torso and attempting to conceal the injuries with makeup.
According to a news release from the Tampa Police Department, Hudson called 911 on Saturday morning to report that her son was unresponsive. When officers arrived at the home, they performed CPR on the child, but he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
