Moreover, Aaberg shed light on the challenges of maintaining anonymity.
"It can be tough to keep your identity a secret," he said. "Sometimes, people recognize me outside of the stadium. But I like that I can create memories for fans without them knowing who I am."
Beyond the entertainment value, Aaberg believes that mascots play a significant role in fostering a sense of camaraderie among fans.
"The mascot is a symbol of the team and a rallying point for supporters," he said. "It brings people together and creates a shared experience."
For aspiring mascots, Aaberg offers a few pieces of advice:
"First and foremost, be yourself. Don't try to be someone you're not. And always remember that the fans are the most important part of the experience. Make them feel special and create lasting memories."
As Aaberg prepares to pass the Rowdy torch to the next mascot, he reflects on his time with the Cowboys with gratitude and fondness.
"This experience has been life-changing," he said. "I've learned so much about myself and the importance of teamwork. I'll never forget the memories I've made here."
