In a seismic shift, former Obama-Biden fundraiser Allison Huynh has announced her departure from the Democratic Party and her allegiance to former President Trump. Citing a litany of grievances with the current Democratic leadership, Huynh is auctioning off her million-dollar Obama "Hope" poster and pledging her vote to Trump in the upcoming election.
Allison Huynh, a prominent ex-Obama fundraiser, has shocked the political landscape by declaring her "divorce" from the Democratic Party and her intention to vote for Donald Trump in the 2024 election. In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Huynh laid bare the reasons behind her dramatic departure, revealing a profound disillusionment with the party's policies and priorities.

"Like any divorce, there's not just one thing, there's a series of things that led up to it," Huynh confided on "Jesse Watters Primetime."
As the co-founder of Willow Garage, a robotics and AI company later acquired by Google, Huynh played a pivotal role in raising millions for Obama's 2008 campaign through lavish dinners for Silicon Valley elites. However, over the ensuing years, her faith in the Democratic Party has eroded, replaced by growing frustration with the party's handling of crime, homelessness, and economic issues.

"The Democrats were policing the wrong things," Huynh asserted. "The things that we need to police are violent criminals scattered throughout the streets of San Francisco, people defecating, shooting up heroin in front of me and my kids, and allowing criminals to go in and steal from our grocery stores, shutting down grocery stores."
San Francisco, once a symbol of progressive values, has become a breeding ground for homelessness, rampant crime, and drug addiction. Huynh's daily life has been marred by the consequences, instilling a sense of fear and frustration that has shattered her confidence in the city's Democratic leadership.

"I love to cook, and when I wake up in the morning, there's no grocery stores to go to," Huynh lamented.
Her disenchantment extends beyond local governance to the national level. She attributes the decline in public safety and the emboldening of criminals to the policies of President Biden, whom she believes has failed to address the root causes of societal decay.
"Biden has been asleep at the wheel," Huynh stated bluntly.
In a symbolic rejection of her former political affiliation, Huynh is auctioning off the Shepard Fairey artwork inspired by Obama's "Hope" posters, which she purchased for over $1 million in 2008. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to charities that support law enforcement and victims of crime.
Despite her previous admiration for Obama's rhetoric on equality and social justice, Huynh has concluded that the Democratic Party has lost its way. She believes that Trump, with his emphasis on law and order and strong economic policies, offers a better path forward for the country.
"You have to look at the facts and the reality," Huynh emphasized. "When you walk the streets of San Francisco, I have three young children, and when we go to the theater district, we have to step over homeless people shooting crack."
Huynh's decision to leave the Democratic Party and embrace Trump represents a significant shift in the political landscape. It underscores the growing disillusionment among voters with the current state of the country and their willingness to consider alternative options.
As the 2024 election approaches, the battle for voters' hearts and minds intensifies. Huynh's journey from Obama fundraiser to Trump supporter serves as a poignant reminder that political allegiances are fluid and that even the most ardent supporters can be swayed by perceived failures in governance.
