**Milwaukee, Wisconsin** - Political organizations, campaigns, and pundits have long debated how to engage young voters. However, recent polls suggest that young Americans share similar voting priorities as older generations.
When asked about his top voting priorities, 27-year-old Seth Cohen emphasized the importance of economics. "Battling inflation, lowering taxes, and creating pro-business environments are crucial for the prosperity of our future," he said.

Cohen, a Marine Corps veteran and Republican candidate for the U.S. House, attended the nonpartisan Youth VoteFest in Milwaukee, where attendees discussed their voting priorities.
While Biden outperforms Trump in head-to-head matchups among voters under 45, a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National Poll found that young voters overwhelmingly disapprove of Biden. Only 24% of voters 18-29 have a favorable view of the current president, the lowest of any age group. Conversely, Trump scored 49% approval among young voters, the highest of any age group.

In addition to economics, young voters also expressed concerns about healthcare, jobs, the economy, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yasmine Ali, 20, said rising prices impact her daily life and highlighted the need for a cohesive plan to address the conflict in Gaza.
Giancarlo Da Motta, 18, prioritized climate change and advocated for a "solution-based" approach to environmental issues. He emphasized the importance of tackling domestic problems before addressing global issues.
