Los Angeles, California - Haley Pullos, a popular actress best known for her role as Molly Lansing on "General Hospital," has surrendered to Pasadena City Jail to serve a 90-day sentence for her involvement in a DUI crash one year ago. Pullos' sentencing hearing has been continued to Monday, July 29th, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.

The incident transpired on April 29th, 2023, when Pullos was arrested following a two-vehicle crash that occurred after she drove the wrong way on a freeway while under the influence of alcohol. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) verified that Pullos was traveling in the incorrect lane on State Route 134 in Pasadena around 1:30 a.m. when the accident took place.

As a result of the crash, Pullos' vehicle had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life rescue tool by the Pasadena City Fire Department. Courtney Wilder, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, filed a lawsuit against Pullos, alleging that he "suffered severe, lasting injuries which have required extensive surgery and treatment and will continue to require treatment." Wilder's vehicle was also totaled in the incident.

According to the terms of Pullos' plea deal, she is required to serve five years of probation, complete 200 hours of community service, and pay $8,260 in restitution to Wilder. Despite her sentencing, Pullos still faces a civil lawsuit filed by Wilder, who claims that she "acted maliciously by attacking the officers" who were attempting to assist her after the crash.

When a first responder tried to check Pullos for injuries, she was reportedly observed "hitting the firefighter and exclaiming, 'This is a $400 f---ing shirt!'" She allegedly became aggressive and physically resisted hospital staff after being taken to the hospital.

Wilder's lawsuit names Pullos, the lounge where she allegedly consumed alcohol before the crash, and the California Department of Transportation as defendants, alleging that inadequate lane markings contributed to Pullos' confusion about the correct direction to drive. He is seeking damages from all defendants, including medical expenses, lost wages, and attorney's fees.

Fox News Digital reached out to Pullos' representatives for comment, but no response has been received as of yet. Emily Trainham of Fox News Digital contributed to this report.

Additional details have emerged regarding the plea deal and Pullos' demeanor during the incident:

* Pullos pleaded no contest to misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08% or more.

* She was ordered to attend a nine-month alcohol education program as part of her probation.

* According to witness statements, Pullos exhibited belligerent and erratic behavior following the crash, including refusing to provide her identification to police and attempting to leave the scene on foot.

The civil lawsuit filed by Wilder provides further insights into the extent of his injuries and the alleged damages caused by Pullos' actions:

* Wilder claims to have suffered severe physical and emotional trauma, including broken bones, nerve damage, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

* He alleges that Pullos' reckless driving has resulted in ongoing medical expenses, lost wages, and significant pain and suffering.

* Wilder seeks compensatory and punitive damages from Pullos and the other defendants, arguing that their negligence and disregard for public safety led to this tragic incident.

The legal proceedings and civil case surrounding Haley Pullos' DUI crash continue to unfold, and further updates are anticipated as the case progresses.
