Gutfeld: Trump-Biden Debates a Smoke Screen, Expect Foul Play

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld suspects ulterior motives behind President Biden's sudden decision to debate former President Trump, predicting unfair tactics and media bias in favor of Biden.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld has expressed skepticism about the fairness of the upcoming presidential debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, suggesting that Biden's team is setting the stage for electoral trickery.

In a segment on his show "Gutfeld!", Gutfeld pointed out the Biden campaign's unusual demands for the debates, including no audience, muted microphones after allotted time, and the exclusion of CNN host Don Lemon as a moderator. These stipulations, he argued, are designed to minimize Biden's potential errors and maximize his chances of success, while benefiting the media's preferred candidate.

Gutfeld highlighted Biden's initial reluctance to debate Trump, citing the latter's unorthodox style and ability to resonate with voters. He speculated that Biden's newfound eagerness could be a ploy to manufacture an excuse for withdrawing from the debates later on.

"So the stage isn't set for a debate — it's set for something else," Gutfeld said. "If this were a fair fight, Biden would be quaking in his Pampers."

Gutfeld also questioned the media's objectivity in covering the debates, referring to the previously hostile statements made by moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash towards Trump. He suggested that the media establishment is biased in favor of Biden and would be willing to overlook any questionable tactics employed by his team.

"Politico details their thinking on the debate: 'Senior advisers felt that they could not skip them, as the re-election campaign has been positioning itself as the one pushing for democracy and transparency... Moreover, it would fuel talk that Biden wasn't up for the rigors of the job itself,'" Gutfeld said.

"So how did Politico know ahead of time? I guess Vivek was right. The fix is in, 'cause Biden is losing," he added.

Gutfeld concluded by warning viewers not to expect a fair fight in the upcoming debates, claiming that the Democrats are likely planning to undermine the process and manipulate the outcome in their favor. He urged viewers to be vigilant and skeptical of any suspicious developments during the debates.

"Look, they're already interfering with elections right in front of us with these court cases," Gutfeld said. "Imagine what they're doing behind our backs without the courtesy of a reach-around."
