Fox News host Sean Hannity criticized the media's coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing them of being biased and refusing to ask tough questions.
Fox News host Sean Hannity has launched a scathing attack on the media for their coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing them of being biased and refusing to ask tough questions.
Hannity made the comments on his show "Hannity" on Thursday, saying that the media has been "covering for" Harris and giving her a pass on important issues.
Hannity Calls Out Kamala Harris' Media Coverage
"If Kamala wants to silence critics, well, she could step up to the podium, answer questions for an hour," Hannity said. "Most everyone in the state-run media mob is a Harris supporter. So, there's really nothing stopping her."
Hannity pointed out that Harris has been largely absent from the public eye, attending only one event per day and spending the rest of her time "hiding in the equivalent of Joe Biden's basement."
"Yet, for some reason, the media is grinning from ear to ear," Hannity said. "They're covering for her like they did for Biden in 2020."
Hannity also criticized Harris for her handling of the border crisis, inflation, and the war in Afghanistan.
"She hasn't lifted a finger to reduce violent crime, gas prices through the roof, or finding a solution to wars overseas," Hannity said.
Hannity's comments come as Harris faces increasing criticism from Republicans, who have accused her of being out of touch with the concerns of ordinary Americans.
In a recent poll by the Pew Research Center, only 28% of Americans said they approve of Harris's job performance.
The media has defended its coverage of Harris, saying that they have been fair and objective.
However, Hannity and other critics argue that the media has given Harris a free pass on important issues and have failed to hold her accountable for her failures.
