Hannity Slams Biden's "Gaffe-Prone" Interview with Howard Stern

Fox News host Sean Hannity criticizes President Biden's recent interview with Howard Stern, citing numerous "gaffes" and "tall tales." Hannity highlights Biden's incorrect recollection of a date, his alleged exaggeration of his civil rights involvement, and his past association with segregationists.

Fox News host Sean Hannity has launched a scathing attack on President Biden's recent interview with former shock jock Howard Stern, accusing him of making multiple "gaffes" and "tall tales."

In a segment on his nightly show, Hannity criticized Biden's performance on Stern's radio program, which he characterized as "a sit-down interview where hard-hitting questions were off the table."

Hannity pointed to Biden's apparent misstatement of a date, claiming that he incorrectly referred to "June 6" when discussing a significant occasion. "June 6 — really?" Hannity exclaimed incredulously. "Did Biden eventually correct himself?"

However, the Fox News host's most pointed criticism was directed at Biden's account of his involvement in the civil rights movement. Hannity alleged that Biden had bragged about being "a civil rights icon" and "an arrest that actually never happened."

According to Hannity, the truth is that Biden, as a young senator, worked closely with segregationist and former Klansman Robert Byrd to oppose the integration of public schools and busing. "They wanted to stop the integration of public schools and bussing, and he didn't want kids to go to schools, in his words — they would grow up in a 'racial jungle,'" Hannity asserted.

Hannity also accused Biden of "palling around with racists" and of having a past filled with racist rhetoric. "That's what Joe Biden said. That is the truth," Hannity declared.

The Fox News host concluded his criticism by expressing concern over the state of the Biden presidency, which he characterized as "a disaster from day one." Hannity questioned Biden's mental fitness and suggested that the president was not up to the demands of the job.

In the interview with Stern, Biden also discussed his decision to debate then-President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential campaign. Biden expressed regret for agreeing to the debate, saying that he had been "naive" and that he had not fully understood Trump's "skillful tactics."

Hannity seized on Biden's admission, claiming that it was further evidence of the president's lack of experience and judgment. "Biden's comments show that he's not fit to be president," Hannity insisted. "He's not capable of handling the demands of the job."

The Fox News host's criticism is part of a broader conservative backlash against President Biden, who has been facing growing pressure from within his own party to resign.
