Shabbos Kestenbaum, a Harvard graduate, denounces antisemitism on campus and laments the loss of Jewish support for President Biden, shedding light on the plight of Jewish students and the growing discontent within the Jewish community.

Shabbos Kestenbaum, a lifelong Jewish Democrat and Harvard University graduate, took the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night, delivering a powerful speech that unmasked the antisemitism he experienced on campus and the growing discontent within the Jewish community towards President Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Kestenbaum, one of six Jewish students suing Harvard for discrimination after antisemitic protests erupted following the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel in October 2021, painted a vivid picture of the hostility Jewish students faced during that tumultuous time. He expressed deep concern over the university's decision to reverse suspensions of five anti-Israel protesters, a move that he believes emboldened antisemitic sentiments.

"We are angry at how Biden has handled the Israel-Hamas conflict," Kestenbaum told Fox News Digital. "He is bleeding both left and right, and it's critical for him to recognize the disillusionment and anger among Jewish Americans."

Kestenbaum criticized Biden's delay in providing critical ammunition to Israel, his inability to quell illegal protests that harassed Jewish Americans, and his failure to secure the release of eight American citizens held hostage by Hamas. He further condemned Vice President Kamala Harris for defending anti-Israel protesters, sparking outrage within the Jewish community.

"The Democratic Party seems to be uninterested in addressing these issues," Kestenbaum said. "I'm a registered Democrat, but I'm disillusioned with my party right now. It's almost unrecognizable because of the Israel issue."

Kestenbaum's speech at the Republican convention highlighted the growing disconnect between the Jewish community and the Democratic Party. He pointed to pro-Israel Democrats like Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, Rep. Ritchie Torres of New York, and congressional candidate George Latimer as notable exceptions, but emphasized the need for broader reform within the party.

"There needs to be some type of reform within my party because they're failing way too many Jewish Americans and Americans," he asserted.

Kestenbaum's speech resonated deeply with Jewish voters across the country. Experts predict that Jewish support for Republicans could increase significantly in the 2024 election, fueled by the growing concerns about antisemitism and the perception that the Democratic Party is abandoning pro-Israel policies.

Harvard graduate Shabbos Kestenbaum's powerful testimony at the Republican National Convention has brought to light the urgent issue of antisemitism on college campuses and the growing discontent within the Jewish community with the Biden administration's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict. His speech serves as a wake-up call for both parties to address the concerns of Jewish Americans and to foster a more inclusive and tolerant society.
