Former "The Princess Diaries" star Heather Matarazzo has traded the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for a more serene existence in Michigan, surrounded by nature and kind-hearted locals.
In a candid social media video, Heather Matarazzo, known for her role as Lilly in the beloved "The Princess Diaries" franchise, revealed her decision to leave the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles behind for the tranquil embrace of Michigan. The 41-year-old actress explained that the move was driven by a desire for a simpler lifestyle alongside her wife, comedian and Michigan native Heather Turman.
Matarazzo, who has previously resided solely in New York City or Los Angeles, expressed her delight at the change of scenery. "I just love it here; I love it so much," she exclaimed. "There's such an abundance of nature and everybody that I've met has just been so incredibly kind."

The actress shared her admiration for her new home state, particularly its culinary delights and cultural attractions. "I love that we can finally garden, and our animals are so happy," she said. "I love the Ann Arbor Art Fair."
