Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has vehemently denounced the Supreme Court for its extended inaction on former President Donald Trump's immunity claim, labeling it a "grave disservice" to the nation and expressing grave concerns over its potential consequences for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"Justice delayed is justice denied," Clinton declared during an interview on MSNBC, vehemently criticizing the delays in multiple criminal and civil cases against Trump. "And the people in our country, it looks as though, will most likely go to vote without knowing the outcome of these other very serious trials."

Clinton's primary target was the Supreme Court's ongoing delay in adjudicating Trump's immunity claim originating from Special Counsel Jack Smith's ongoing investigation into potential election interference. She emphasized the need for the Court to resolve this matter swiftly, especially considering the serious allegations against Trump.

"I read the excellent decision by the court of appeals. The judges there, I think, covered every possible argument," Clinton stated. "What we heard when this case was tried before the Supreme Court, to my ear at least, were efforts to try to find loopholes, to try to create an opportunity for Trump to have attempted to overturn an election, to have carried out hundreds and hundreds of pages of very highly classified material for his own amusement, interest, trading, we don’t know what."

Clinton cautioned that these charges against Trump represent a grave threat to American democracy and should be a cause for deep concern among voters. She reiterated her belief that Trump poses a clear and present danger to the nation, especially if he maintains a viable chance of regaining the presidency in 2024.

"That should cause any voter to think not twice, but many, many times over about whether we should entrust our country to him," Clinton warned.

She also expressed frustration with the current political landscape, where voters may feel compelled to choose between Trump and President Biden, or even consider alternative candidates such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Clinton emphasized the contrasting qualities of the two leading candidates, painting Biden as an experienced and compassionate leader, while portraying Trump as a dangerous and volatile figure.

"We have two old candidates. One is, yes, old and effective, has passed legislation, that I think is going to put America on such a strong footing for the future, is compassionate, cares about people, tries hard to make the right decision," she said, referring to Biden. "The other is old and dangerous. I mean, why is that a hard choice for people?"

Clinton's remarks highlight the growing concern among many observers that Trump's ongoing legal battles and the lingering uncertainty surrounding his potential prosecution could significantly impact the 2024 election. The Supreme Court's eventual decision on Trump's immunity claim is likely to play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape and determining the course of American democracy in the years to come.
