According to the LAPD, Olds' criminal behavior came to light after a 41-year-old woman reported an incident of rape in January 2023. Subsequent investigations led to two additional victims coming forward with similar allegations dating back to 2013.

The victims described consensual dating encounters that abruptly turned violent, resulting in sexual assaults. A warrant was issued for Olds' arrest on July 19, 2024, and he was apprehended on Wednesday, August 7, near the Getty Museum.

LAPD Detective Brent Hopkins, a special assault section supervisor, stated, "Mr. Olds started off charming, but then used brutal violence to carry out these rapes. Law enforcement officials believe that due to Olds' profession, there may be additional victims in other parts of the country. They urge anyone with information to come forward and contact the LAPD.

Olds is currently being held on $3.5 million bail. A representative for Olds has not yet responded to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
