Fox News host Jesse Watters says Kamala Harris' honeymoon phase has been nothing but fighting and that Democrats are now crashing from their sugar high.
Fox News host Jesse Watters has declared that Kamala Harris' honeymoon phase has been a disaster, with Democrats now crashing from their sugar high.
"You never want to kick your honeymoon off with a fight," Watters said on "Jesse Watters Primetime." "And Democrats have been trying to put on a smile and pretend like it's happy days with Kamala. But after three weeks with her, they're losing it."
Honeymoon Over: Democrats Crash from Kamala Harris Sugar High
Watters pointed to a series of infighting and backstabbing incidents within the Democratic Party as evidence that the honeymoon is over. He specifically cited Nancy Pelosi's recent criticism of Harris and the media's growing skepticism about her abilities.
"This was supposed to be the honeymoon phase, but the entire honeymoon has been nothing but fighting," Watters said. "Not a good start."
Watters argued that Democrats had hoped to get rid of Biden by anointing Harris as his successor, but that Biden outmaneuvered them by securing her loyalty. Now, he said, Democrats in the media are forced to defend Harris, even though they have doubts about her.
"After doing it for Biden for four years, Democrats in the media are already running out of gas," Watters said. "CNN confronted the ‘coup’ master, asking, so where is Kamala?..."
Watters predicted that Democrats will not go down easily, even if Biden is defeated by Trump in the 2024 election.
"They play dirty, and they always have something up their sleeve," Watters said.
Watters' comments come amid growing criticism of Harris' performance as vice president. Critics have accused her of being ineffective and out of touch, and her approval ratings have plummeted in recent months.
It remains to be seen whether Harris can turn things around and salvage her honeymoon with Democrats. But Watters' comments suggest that the honeymoon phase is over and that the honeymoon has been nothing but fighting.
Here are some additional details from Watters' commentary:
* Watters said that Nancy Pelosi has been "trash talking" Harris behind closed doors and that her "guilty conscience is starting to kick in."
* Watters also said that JD Vance has urged the media to stop giving Harris a honeymoon and to demand answers from her.
* Watters predicted that Democrats will not give up power easily, even if Biden is defeated by Trump in the 2024 election.
Overall, Watters' commentary presents a negative view of Harris' performance as vice president and suggests that Democrats are losing faith in her.
