A House committee has uncovered new evidence alleging that Hunter Biden repeatedly lied to Congress during an investigation. IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley claims that the CIA intervened to prevent Morris from being interviewed as a witness in the investigation, leading to accusations of stonewalling.

The House committee investigating Hunter Biden's financial dealings has obtained new evidence suggesting that he lied to Congress on multiple occasions. IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley has revealed in an affidavit that the CIA allegedly interfered in the IRS's interview with Kevin Morris, a "sugar brother" who provided millions of dollars to pay Hunter Biden's tax debts.

Shapley alleges that Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf informed the prosecution team that she and DOJ Tax Attorney Jack Morgan had met with the CIA in Langley, Virginia, where they were provided a classified briefing about Morris. As a result, the IRS was instructed to cease pursuing Morris as a witness.

Shapley's affidavit sheds light on the CIA's alleged interference in the interview with Morris. He notes that Wolf and Morgan were summoned to the CIA headquarters and subsequently restricted from pursuing Morris as a witness due to information obtained during the meeting.

The CIA has previously denied allegations that it stonewalled the interview with Morris. However, Shapley's affidavit contradicts this claim, suggesting that the agency played a role in preventing the IRS from obtaining potential evidence against Hunter Biden.

Previously, Fox News Digital reported on the whistleblower's allegations that the CIA had thwarted the interview with Morris. The CIA responded by stating that the allegations were false and that it did not interfere with the IRS investigation.

Shapley raises concerns about the CIA's involvement in the matter and questions why investigators were not informed about the meeting with the CIA in advance. He states that it deviates from standard investigative processes when prosecutors exclude investigators from substantive meetings.

The allegations against Hunter Biden stem from a four-year scheme in which he allegedly failed to pay federal income taxes from January 2017 to October 2020 and filed false tax reports. Special Counsel David Weiss has charged Hunter Biden with nine federal tax charges, including three felonies and six misdemeanors for $1.4 million in unpaid taxes.

Morris, who was subpoenaed to testify in the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, is estimated to have loaned Hunter Biden approximately $6.5 million. The loans were used to pay off Hunter Biden's tax debt, among other expenses.

Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and his tax trial is scheduled for September 5. The charges against him represent serious allegations that could have significant consequences for the president's son.

The committee's investigation into Hunter Biden's financial dealings is ongoing, and the new evidence against him could strengthen the case for prosecution. The allegations of CIA interference raise further questions about the extent of the alleged cover-up surrounding Hunter Biden's activities.
