The first round of voting in last Friday's election saw the lowest participation since the country's 1979 Islamic revolution. The Iranian regime's Interior Ministry claimed over 30 million votes in the second round. However, eyewitness reports and videos show empty polling stations in Iran.

Despite Iran's designation as a terror state, the Biden administration has allowed Iranian citizens to vote in the nation's election on American soil. A U.S. State Department spokesperson referred to Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel's remarks, stating that foreign governments must conduct election-related activities in the U.S. in accordance with U.S. law and regulations.

At a polling location in Lynnwood, Washington, a security guard allegedly assaulted an Iranian-American woman who objected to the election. The police report obtained by Fox News Digital alleges that the security guard "grabbed her arm and attempted to seize her phone."

In addition to the sham elections, Iran's continued expansion of uranium enrichment to near weapons-grade levels has also raised alarms. A recent watchdog report revealed Iran's efforts to have sanctions lifted, despite its ongoing nuclear advancements.

Iranian-Americans and Iranian-Canadians have staged protests against the polling stations in several U.S. cities, including Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Washington. Video footage and photographs show the presence of protestors at these locations.

In the Iranian election, former nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili lost to Masoud Pezeshkian, a heart surgeon. Pezeshkian secured 53.3% of the vote, while Jalili received 44.3%.
