Jake Paul has shifted his focus and lost weight after the postponement of his highly anticipated fight with Mike Tyson. Paul had bulked up to 234 pounds, but is now back down to 224.
Jake Paul, the popular YouTuber turned boxer, has been forced to make a significant adjustment after his upcoming fight with Mike Tyson was postponed from July 20 to November 15. Paul, 27, had been training интенсивно, bulking up to 234 pounds in preparation for the fight. However, the postponement has forced him to recalibrate his training and diet.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Paul revealed that he had been eating between 5,000 and 7,000 calories a day to gain weight for the Tyson fight. He also joked that Tyson had even commented on his increased size, saying that Paul was "fat."

"I was pretty hefty," Paul said. "But I felt good at that weight. I had much more power than in previous fights when I was sub-200. I fought at 199 in March."
However, Paul admitted that the increased weight made his runs more challenging. "The runs were brutal," he said. "I was dreading doing the long-distance runs. I'm already down 10, 12 pounds. It's definitely better at this weight."

The postponement of the Tyson fight has forced Paul to reset his focus. He has shifted his attention to launching his new men's personal care line, W, and to continuing to improve as a boxer.
"Definitely just had to reset, take a couple steps back, meditate, re-shift my focus and my purpose and still train, still get better on a daily basis, because I'm committed to the goal of becoming a world champion," Paul said. "So, there's still a lot of work to be done."

Paul admitted that he was "devastated and pretty sad" when the Tyson fight was postponed. However, he has since come to terms with the decision and is now looking forward to the future.
"Just rolling with the punches and shifting my focus to launching W and everything we're doing there," he said.
Paul is currently 9-1 in his boxing career, with six wins via knockout. The Tyson fight would have been the biggest of his career to date. He is expected to return to the ring before the November 15 date against an as-yet-undetermined opponent.
