Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance warns Americans not to believe Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' policy positions, accusing her of "flip-flopping" and pretending to be moderate to win votes.

Vice presidential candidate JD Vance has issued a stern warning to Americans, cautioning them against being misled by Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' policy positions during her first sit-down interview since launching her 2024 bid. Vance alleges that Harris' sudden shift towards moderation is merely an act to garner more votes ahead of the November election.

Speaking on "Fox & Friends," Vance criticized Harris' performance during the CNN interview, accusing her of pretending to be more moderate: "She's just trying to pretend that she's not far left now because, of course, she wants to win the American people's votes over the next couple of months."

Vance highlighted Harris' history of governing as a far-left politician, citing her support for policies such as Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and criminal justice reform. He warned that if elected, Harris would implement these policies, leading to negative consequences for the country.

"It's really absurd for Kamala Harris to sit there and say, 'Well, I don't actually believe in any of the things that I told you I believed three years ago.' She has governed as a person who believes those things, and unfortunately, the American people are far off because of it," Vance stated.

He further questioned Harris' ideological transformation, accusing her of changing her stance on various issues: "If you have the same values, why have you changed your mind on literally every topic that you previously held an opinion on?"

Vance also criticized the media for failing to hold Harris accountable for her policy reversals, arguing that the mainstream media has largely avoided pressing the Democratic presidential nominee on issues where she has apparently changed her mind.

"The media is so desperate to let her get away with this, that they don't even push her on the fact that she's changed her mind, allegedly on eight different topics," Vance said.

He stressed that Harris' actions should speak louder than her words: "She is the sitting vice president of the United States. If she's changed her mind, why doesn't she enact these policies now and make Americans better off? I don't think she believes it, which is why you're not seeing it in what she's doing."

Vance expressed sympathy for Harris, suggesting she appeared unsure of her own policy positions after the interview: "It was clear that she wasn't totally sure-footed, and she didn't totally know why she was saying the things that she was saying."

He summed up his concerns by asserting, "Unfortunately, guys, she's governed as a San Francisco liberal, and because of it, Americans are poor, the world is more chaotic and our border is wide open. We've got to take this country in a new direction, which is why we've got to elect Donald Trump."

Vance's comments reflect a growing concern among Republicans about Harris' ability to appeal to moderate voters, particularly in light of her past support for progressive policies. It remains to be seen whether Harris can successfully navigate this challenge and secure the presidency in November.
