"I held it up high and said, 'I didn't forget about you, baby'," Schneider emotionally recalled. "It was a way of keeping her spirit alive on a day that was so important to our family."

Schneider's daughter, Karis Schneider, who works as a nurse, married her fiancé, Rock Mancuso, in a beautiful ceremony in Louisiana. The actor expressed his joy at being able to witness his daughter's special moment while also honoring his beloved wife.

"It was a tough day, but it was also a beautiful day," Schneider said. "I know Alicia would have been so proud of Karis and Rock, and I'm grateful I could carry her with me in such a special way."

In a recent episode of "Grace Begins, The Podcast," Schneider revealed that he is in a new relationship with a woman who understands his grief and loss. He described meeting her as a "gift" and expressed his gratitude for her presence in his life.

"God sent a widower to a widow and a widow to a widower who [gets] it, who understands," he said. "Because I tell you what, I was ready to give it up, all of it—everything."

Schneider admitted that he had initially been hesitant to open his heart to love again after Alicia's passing. However, he is now finding joy in his new relationship and is grateful for the companionship and love she brings into his life.

Alicia Schneider was a talented producer and actress known for her work in films such as "Leather Jackets," "Caged Fear," and "Auto Focus." She met Schneider in 2014 and they fell deeply in love, becoming indie-filmmaking partners and co-songwriters.

Alicia's cancer diagnosis in 2019 brought challenges to their relationship, but they faced them together with strength and determination. Schneider released a tribute album in November titled "We're Still Us" in honor of his wife's memory.
