Notably, Baldoni did not disclose the details of his infection. Fox News Digital has reached out to his representative for further information.

Prior to his health scare, Baldoni's recent film, "Garfield," premiered in theaters on May 24. The movie is a production of Wayfarer Entertainment Company, which Baldoni co-founded.

Currently, Baldoni is involved in the highly anticipated film adaptation of "It Ends With Us," based on the popular novel by Colleen Hoover. Baldoni serves as the director, producer, and lead actor in the film, which also stars Blake Lively.

Blake Lively's involvement in the project has garnered significant attention, particularly due to the inclusion of Taylor Swift's "My Tears Richochet" in the trailer, which Lively's efforts helped secure. "It Ends With Us" is slated to hit theaters on August 9.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Baldoni expressed his satisfaction with the positive reception surrounding the upcoming film. "I know fans have been waiting a long time for this, and it's a very special book for a lot of reasons — to a lot of women, especially — and our mission is just to do right by them," he stated.

Justin Baldoni's recent hospitalization serves as a reminder of the challenges we may face, but also the importance of seeking professional medical care and expressing gratitude for the healthcare workers who provide exceptional care.
