"Kamala Harris owns the border crisis," Stefanik said during an appearance on Fox News' "America Reports." "She has been appointed by President Biden to be the border czar, and she has failed miserably."
Stefanik specifically pointed to the Biden administration's use of the CBP One app, which allows migrants to schedule appointments to be paroled into the US. The app has been expanded to allow up to 1,450 migrants per day to make appointments.

"This is a disaster," Stefanik said. "This is a backdoor amnesty program. They are waiving in illegal immigrants quasi-legally."
Stefanik said that Republicans have been sounding the alarm about the border crisis for months, but that the Biden administration has ignored their concerns.

"They have refused to enforce our laws," she said. "They have refused to build the wall. They have refused to do anything to secure our border."
Stefanik's comments come as the Biden administration faces increasing pressure over the border crisis. The number of migrants apprehended at the border has reached record levels, and Republicans have accused the administration of not doing enough to secure the border.

The Biden administration has defended its handling of the border crisis, saying that it is working to address the root causes of migration from Central America. The administration has also said that it is committed to enforcing immigration laws, but that it is doing so in a humane way.
The border crisis is expected to be a major issue in the upcoming midterm elections. Republicans are hoping to use the issue to win back control of Congress, while Democrats are hoping to defend their majorities.
