Kate Hudson Praises the Unwavering Bond of Her Grandparents, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn

Hudson, who shares a close relationship with her grandparents, credited them for being the foundation of her family's strong connection and joyous spirit. She noted that despite their differences, her grandparents have always prioritized their family, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and unique.

"I think from the outside it looks a certain way, but inside, our family is just nuts, in the best way. Everybody's so different, but everyone wants to enjoy their life. There's a lot of joie de vivre. Even in like, debate or when people are upset with each other, it's like we've got this life force in our family and it's so great," Hudson explained.

Hudson's comments were prompted by a question about her mother's relationship with Russell, which she described as both enduring and adorable. She noted that Russell's deep affection for Hawn is evident, and the couple's mutual respect and admiration have only grown stronger over the years.

"And it starts with the two of them. And they're very different people too, and now as they're getting a little bit older, their relationship is cute, I can't stand it. Kurt just adores my mom. And I see him, he just loves her so much... it's really cute to see," Hudson added.

Russell, in a separate interview with Esquire, had previously expressed his admiration for Hawn, describing her as "the whole package." He acknowledged the unique bond they share and attributed much of his happiness to her presence in his life.

"You get with Goldie Hawn, you got a good chance," Russell said. "If you're lucky enough to get with Goldie Hawn, it's just however long she can put up with you."

Hudson, who has also credited Russell as her father figure, has expressed profound gratitude for the love and support he has provided throughout her life. She considers herself fortunate to have him as a father and cherishes the unconditional love he offers.

"I feel so unconditionally loved by Kurt... he's the best," Hudson said. "I was just so lucky to have him as a dad and I think my mom knew it."
