In a bold move that has sent ripples through the NASCAR community, Kaulig Racing has hired Ty Norris as its new Chief Business Officer. Norris, a seasoned executive with an impressive track record, joins the team after departing from Trackhouse Racing, where he played a pivotal role in its meteoric rise.
Matt Kaulig, owner of Kaulig Racing, expressed great enthusiasm about Norris's addition. "To compete at the highest level, we must continuously evolve and enhance our operations," he said. "With the addition of Ty, we gain an invaluable asset with a wealth of experience and expertise."

Norris's extensive resume includes stints at some of NASCAR's most renowned organizations. He spent eight years at Dale Earnhardt Inc. (1996-2004), followed by a brief tenure at Speedway Motorsports Inc. Norris then joined Michael Waltrip Racing, where he played a key role in building the team from the ground up.
After Michael Waltrip Racing closed, Norris moved to Spire Sports + Entertainment before teaming up with Justin Marks to establish Trackhouse Racing on the foundations of Chip Ganassi Racing.

"Ty's appointment is an addition that strengthens our sponsorship and business operations, allowing us to continue our growth and elevation."

Kaulig's statement at the time of Norris's hiring alluded to the team's ambition to "solidify the trajectory of its NASCAR Cup Series program well into the future." Kaulig Racing has achieved numerous victories in the Xfinity Series, but the team is eager for greater achievements in NASCAR's top division.
Norris has a close working relationship with Kaulig, having collaborated on projects such as Shane van Gisbergen's loan to Kaulig Racing's Xfinity Series team this season. van Gisbergen will join Trackhouse full-time in the Cup Series next year.
