Kelly Osbourne, known for her transparency about her substance abuse history, recently made a surprising revelation on "TMZ Investigates: Matthew Perry & The Secret Celebrity Drug Ring." She claimed that her first rehab stint provided a comprehensive education on how to become a "better drug addict."

"I learned so many tricks, so many things I never even thought of from my fellow addicts that were in there," Osbourne explained. "I'd also seen people threaten to leave until they got given what they wanted, whether it be Ambien for sleep or Valium for nerves — they'd end up getting it."

Osbourne's addiction journey began in her early teens when she was prescribed opioids after a routine tonsillectomy. Her struggles intensified under the public scrutiny faced by her family on MTV's reality show, "The Osbournes."

At the age of 19, Osbourne entered rehab for the first time. However, her attempts at recovery were met with setbacks. She recalled witnessing "body brokers" lurking outside meetings, targeting vulnerable addicts to exploit.

"They'll sit outside of AA meetings looking for weak and vulnerable people that they encourage to relapse so they can then pick you up again," Osbourne warned. "I swear on everything that it is true, and it is heartbreaking."

Osbourne's descent into addiction continued, with Vicodin becoming her gateway drug. She later transitioned to heroin due to its affordability. "I went from Vicodin to Percocet, from Percocet to heroin eventually, because it was cheaper," she admitted.

Despite multiple rehab attempts, Osbourne experienced a relapse in 2021 after four years of sobriety. "I'm not proud of it, but I am back on track," she said at the time.

Since then, Osbourne has maintained her recovery. In May 2022, she welcomed her first child with Slipknot frontman Sid Wilson.
