According to royal expert Christopher Andersen, author of "The King," Charles regards Harry's criticisms of his stepmother, Queen Camilla, as a "cardinal sin." In his book, Harry branded Camilla a "villain" and revealed that both he and his brother, Prince William, initially begged their father not to marry her.

"No one disses Camilla in royal circles and gets away with it – not even a son of the king," Andersen warned.

The alleged lack of communication between Charles and Harry comes shortly after People magazine reported that a "positive meeting" between the father and son in February had deteriorated. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not returned to the U.K. with their children since the late queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The couple have established a new life in California.
